[ pathway ] become a coach
Help people. Strengthen communities. Create lasting impact.
Our Community Coach Programme equips caring individuals with practical mental wellness knowledge and helping skills to support others responsibly.
Graduates receive ongoing coaching, supervision and opportunities to continue growing as community leaders.
The subsidised rate is available to pensioners, persons with disabilities, and underprivileged households on proof of limited funds.
what you learn
The skills a community actually turns to you for.
- Active listening
- Empathy
- Communication skills
- Ethical helping
- Confidentiality
- Crisis awareness
- Referral skills
- Boundaries
- Supporting vulnerable people
This pathway is built on Basic Counselling. Knowing when to refer is taught as carefully as knowing how to listen.
the boundary
A community coach supports. A clinician treats.
Dariva.co provides education and coaching, not therapy or crisis care. Graduates are trained to recognise the limits of their role, to hold confidentiality, and to hand over to a registered professional when that is what someone needs. That boundary is the point of the qualification, not a caveat on it.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or crisis, please contact emergency services or a registered mental health professional.

Train as a community coach.
Namibia has no ICF-regulated coaching body yet. Building one — a Coaching Learning Institute and Regulatory Body — is a stated long-term goal, not an accreditation we currently hold.
