The Kunene River running over rock in northern Namibia

why we are called Dariva

A river flows, connects and nourishes.

That is the whole idea. Wellness moves the same way: from one person to a household, a workplace, a community, a region.

One course. Three months.

Participants do not pick a stream. Everyone moves through the same three-month progression, in order — because you cannot support someone else well until you have done the work on yourself first.

Develop the person, equip the coach, develop the leader.

How we measure it

To build emotionally resilient, self-sustaining communities and businesses throughout Namibia and Africa.

Prevention is more powerful than intervention. By equipping ordinary people with practical emotional wellbeing skills, communities become healthier, safer and more resilient — and they stay that way without us.

Sunrise over the Namibian horizon
